About Emma

I’m Emma. Alongside Breathe4Good I’m a Mum to three (just about still) teens and run events and open days from my garden in Northamptonshire.  I love words (novels, poetry, memoir, self-development…), running, cold-water swimming, yoga, herbs, preserving (so satisfying!) and my garden.  Oh, and my dog, Jock. A lot. I’m passionate about wellbeing, good nutrition and leading a balanced life.

My discovery of breathwork in 2018 was the catalyst for powerful personal transformation, culminating in the creation of my wellbeing practice. After a twenty-year career in the corporate world providing tax advice to businesses and shareholders, I discovered rebirthing breathwork on a retreat in Italy. My initial experience of connecting consciously with my breath was so profound that I committed to practitioner training with the AIR school of Breathwork within weeks, inspired to share my discovery of breathwork with the world.

I work with a range of healing modalities, principally breathwork, to create inner landscapes of love, acceptance and allowance, softening and gentling energetic blockages to promote the gradual dissolution of unhelpful patterns of thought, behaviour and emotional response. My connection with the natural world and its lessons of surrender and acceptance, impermanence, seasonality and renewal, is the guiding light in my work. Taking a gentle and empathetic approach to all my therapies, I allow clients to explore their own inner realms in a supported and secure way.

I run my wellbeing practice from my home and garden in Northamptonshire, taking opportunities to bring the practice outside into the open air when I can, so that clients can enjoy the wonderful alchemy of nature and the breath.
