As the world sits in balance at the equinox, join us as we continue our journey around the wheel of the year with our Autumn Equinox retreat; a full day dedicated to bringing balance to body, mind and soul to help align with the balance experienced in nature. Co-led by the Wendy, founder and owner of Alchemise Yoga Studio, and me, Emma, we have a programme designed to soothe, ground, inspire and to help you prepare for the months ahead.
Day and night are now of equal length, the autumn officially begun. With each change in season we have opportunity to surrender, integrate & reset. There is a stronger sense of release now… the potency of the seeds and intentions planted six months ago at the Spring Equinox have now come into full fruition; the blooming, the fruit and now the release ready to transform anew.
During the day you’ll experience:
Dynamic yoga practices
Wim Hof Inspired breathwork
Outdoor swimming in the garden’s swimming pond (a challenge as the days get shorter and the pool gets cooler!)
Restorative yoga sessions
Grounding hand and foot self-massage lesson with seasonally blended balm
Tantric Philosophy
Mythical Story Telling
Journalling
Optional lessons from our herb garden
Sound therapy Wendy’s Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls
Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils teachings (and gifts)
You’ll be nourished with a fabulous seasonal and organic vegan buffet lunch, including warm, grounding soup, home made bread, autumn salads and orchard fruits. We’ll also be offering herbal teas brewed with herbs freshly harvested from the garden and tailored to support each stage of the retreat, along with nutritious sweet treats and snacks.
Throughout the day, we’ll be considering in particular the energy of the Ayurvedic Dosha Vata, which can often accumulate during the autumn months and strategies to bring Vata back to a place of equilibrium through movement, lifestyle and food choices.
Investment: £95
Timings: arrive at 9.30am, depart at 4.30pm
NB: Numbers limited to 24. This is an outdoor event and therefore dependent on fine weather. In the event of bad weather on 28 September, we’ll be hosting the event at Alchemise yoga studio, with a few ensuing chages to the retreat programme.
**Full joining instructions, including a list of things to being with you, will be emailed to participants a few days ahead of the retreat**
