Conscious connected breathing is a simple, gentle yet powerful way to release stuck or stored emotions held in our bodies and in doing so to change the relationship we have with ourselves, with our loved ones and with the world. Breathing consciously makes it possible for previously unresolved issues to integrate and heal, allowing us to move towards fulfilling our potential as human beings.
Join me for an afternoon workshop at Alchemise yoga studio in Newport Pagnell weaving words, nature and breath together, as we take a deep dive into our inner worlds.
Over the course of the workshop, we’ll first seek to find out a sense of home in our natural breath before learning how to alter the rhythm of the breath to connect the inhale and exhale. After a short refreshment break, we’ll begin an extended session of conscious connected breathing, inviting in acceptance, surrender and ultimately transformation, before rounding off with a period of rest to allow our Breathwork to integrate. There’ll also be space at the end of the session for you to share your experiences (entirely optional!) over a cup of seasonal tea.
Our home for the afternoon will be the luxurious Alchemise yoga studio, a fabulous, light and inspiring space complete with underfloor heating and sheepskin rugs to ensure we keep cosy for the duration of the journey. There’s plenty of free parking in the public car park next to the studio.
The session is physically quite passive, and no previous experience of breathwork is needed. Please wear comfortable clothes suitable for lying down. All equipment will be provided.
