Last season’s mini-retreat mornings quickly sold out, so , you’ll be delighted to know that we’re collaborating again with yoga teacher Sue Wood to bring you another series of fabulous outdoor mini-retreats.
This year, we’ll be making a journey through the elements; starting in April with the earth element and working our way up to space in September. Each mini-retreat can be taken as a stand alone experience, or as part of the series. In yoga, Ayurveda and Indian philosophy, the elements are the building blocks of all life; we’ll consider how each manifests for us and the practices we can undertake to connect with the elements, bringing ourselves into balance in the process. And in particular, we’ll look at how reconnecting to nature outside of us can help us reconnect to our true, inner nature.
Our air mini-retreat should provide a deliciously cooling antidote to the heat of July. Exploring the qualities of love, clarity, freedom, openness and positivity, this journey will incorporate breathwork, flow and heart-opening poses, air-inspired teachings and cold-infused herbal teas.
Starting with Sue’s lively and elementally inspired yoga on the lawn, the mini-retreat mornings will include an optional outdoor swim in the garden’s natural swimming pond and an opportunity to explore the garden before we round off with homemade cakes and a choice of herbal teas.
The cost of these sessions is £20, including cake and herbal tea. Profits will be donated to charity.
Numbers are limited to 20 per session.
NB: this is an outdoor event, so weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rearranged and refunds offered to anyone who cannot make the revised date
