Six Inches of Soil is the inspiring story of British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food - to heal the soil, benefit our health and provide for local communities. A documentary film that’s attracted great reviews, it explores regenerative agriculture and can currently only be watched at registered community screenings (like this one) around the UK. You can find out more about the film here.
We’ll be hosting a charity screening of the film in Quinton Village Hall, raising funds for the community orchard project in nearby Hanslope, and would love you to join us.
To make an occasion of it, a hearty bowl of organic and seasonal soup will be served on arrival, together with homemade bread, and later there’ll be herbal tea to enjoy whilst you watch the film screening.
Tickets for this event are available from the Kinema website. They cost $15 (about £12).
We’ll begin the screening itself at 7.30pm, and the film lasts for 1h 36mins.
