We’re excited to be welcoming back the Musica Charity Choir to Quinton Old Rectory Garden for our Songs at Sunset concert. The concert kicks off our weekend celebration of poetry, with a carefully curated selection of songs referencing nature and literature, bound together with short readings of poetry
We’re hosting the concert in support of Olney based charity Advantage Africa, a cause that we’ve been close to for many years now. Advantage Africa work with disadvantaged people in East Africa and one of the charity’s founders will be with us on the evening to share some of the very tangible changes the charity has brought about though its work. We’ll be selling raffle tickets on the night too with some very special prizes on offer
The concert itself will start at 7pm, but we invite concert go-ers to arrive from 6.30pm and take some time to wander the gardens (with a glass of wine in hand if you like!) beforehand. We expect the evening to conclude by 9pm
We’ll have an onsite bar operating where you can buy wine, fizz, bottled beer and soft drinks before the concert and during the interval
